OUR VALUES
OUR PURPOSE
To present the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost and encourage growth in the lives of all God’s people according to His will.
Therefore, we desire to learn God’s authoritative and inspired word so that we may live a life that brings honor to Him. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
OUR HOPE
So many people are searching for answers to life’s most challenging questions and you may feel there’s a void in your heart that needs to be filled.
You are not here by accident!
It’s our prayer that you find the answers and fill that void and find your purpose through the discovery of God’s incredible and unconditional forgiving love.
May we rejoice in the blessed HOPE and soon return of our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ!
Need Prayer? We Would Love To Pray For You.
With prayer any miracle is possible.
WHAT TO EXPECT AT A SERVICE
Milligan Ridge Baptist Church is a place where loving and caring friends will welcome you and readily be available to help you in your walk with God. A door greeter will welcome you and gladly answer any questions about our services. Please feel free to sit anywhere you feel comfortable.

What do I wear? Dress for all services is casual in keeping with godliness & modesty (orderly, well arranged, or decent). Our heart is the primary issue when it comes to modesty. God does not look on our outward appearance, but on our hearts. Our dress should follow God’s command in I Timothy 2:9-10 where all attention should fall on the Lord.

What happens after I arrive? Sunday School begins at 10:00 AM. After a short devotional we will be dismissed to our classes. There is a class for every age group from children to senior adults. One of us will happily to direct you to your classroom.

Our morning worship service begins at 11:00 AM. Is there any place for my baby? We offer parents a nursery (6 weeks to age 3) and changing area room right off the main sanctuary if you need to change/nurse your baby (supplies provided). We believe that the worship hour is extremely valuable and the authentic worship experience is a special time for the entire family to experience together.

What time are services usually over? Our morning service is usually over by 12:00 noon. We would not “quench” the Spirit and if someone is at the alter or we have people making decisions it may run over by 5 minutes or so. Every service ends with an “invitation” to make a decision for Christ as prompted by the Holy Spirit. We usually enjoy visiting with each other after our services.

- Will I be publicly acknowledged or called out? No, we won’t embarrass anyone. We do acknowledge birthdays & anniversaries and if you’d like to make an offering that’s totally up to you. Our birthday song goes like this: Happy Birthday to you, only one will not do. Born again means salvation, Happy Birthday to you!
- Will I be hounded after I visit? Every 1st time visitor will receive a gift bag with some goodies as a “thank you” for coming by. We ask that you fill-out a visitor card so we can follow-up with you, but this is certainly not required. We would love to see you in our services again, but we respect your privacy. We want you to know that we’re here to help you win with JESUS.

Evening worship begins at 5:30 PM with prayer, preaching, invitation, and dismissal by prayer at 6:30 PM .

Wednesday Night Bible Study begins at 7:00 PM in the Sanctuary. Kingdom Kids (Bible time & snack) 7:00 PM will be dismissed after the song service . Services conclude by 8:00 PM.

Nobody likes to be smothered or made to feel like a spectacle when they visit a new place; neither does anyone enjoy a cold, stale, unfriendly environment. An enjoyable church experience is found far away from these two extremes, in a warm, friendly, encouraging atmosphere that is characteristic of God-honoring, Christ-centered, Spirit-filled Bible Christianity. We are blessed to enjoy this kind of atmosphere every time we come together, and it spills over to everyone who walks through our doors. You will be pleasantly surprised at the laid-back warmth that you enjoy inside our doors.

WORDS FROM OUR CHURCH FAMILY
Pastoral Team

Welcome home.
Mary and I want to welcome you and thank you for visiting our website. We believe that you are not here by accident, but by God’s amazing grace. My wife and I moved from Fordyce, AR to accept the call to the pastorate of Milligan Ridge Baptist in January of 2016. I’m humbled that God has allowed me to Pastor and minister to others for over 25 years.
As a team, our passion is helping precious souls learn how to have a relationship with Jesus and grow spiritually. Following Jesus and living for Him is the best decision you can ever make. It’s our prayer that you will consider visiting us because we believe God has a purpose, a plan and place for you in His church.
